The GAA’s popular ‘Ireland Lights Up’ walking initiative returns in January 2025 in partnership with "Get Ireland Walking" AND Vision Independent Production's new "40 Day Health Challenge" TV series.

Ireland Lights Up (ILU) encourages GAA clubs across the 32 counties to turn on their floodlights and open their walking tracks to facilitate local communities to come together to walk and talk in a safe environment during the long dark evenings of winter. 

We (Vision Independent Production, the company that produced the Operation Transformation Series for RTÉ) are delighted to be launching a new show starting on January 6th entitled "40 Day Health Challenge" which will shine a light on this great initiative by showcasing GAA clubs each week of the show that are participating in ILU.  You will be able to follow our new show for free HERE as each new weekly episode drops. 

Participating clubs will be asked to open their gates in the evenings over the duration of the new 40 Day Health challenge show (January to March)
